I suffer from insatiable curiosity, which has led me to sign up on Twitter

Is it just a delicious irony that although twitter is the name given to both bird noises and gossipping, that twit means

I rather expect not... (and by the way, I will not post any of my twitterings on here - you want to be bombarded by my thoughts as they occur, follow me there)
