I haven't lost any more weight - well, I did get down to 12 stone 7lb for a brief while, but then plateaued and gradually put a few pounds back.  But I haven't gone back over 13 stone, which is a bonus!  I'm now in Australia - I've been seconded here for work purposes, for fifteen weeks.  And I haven't got any scales here, but I am eating just for me now, so no need to have sweet and savoury snacks in the house as we do at home for my partner's daughters, who visit every other weekend.  Food in Australia is expensive too, so there's a drive to make every morsel that I buy count.  I shopped on Monday and now have a decent amount of staples in the cupboard.  I was treated to business class flights on the way here, so ate well on both the planes and in the lounges.

But on getting here, I've set out as I mean to go on.  Toast happened both in the evening I arrived and for brunch the following day.  Ham sandwiches with baby plum tomatoes and a quarter of fresh pineapple happened yesterday evening and today lunch.  I had a yogurt for breakfast this morning and a tuna salad with balsamic dressing for my evening meal, with a glass of apple juice.  I might have a bowl of frozen yogurt this evening - my one treat food that I've bought, in two flavours; orange & mango and wild berry.  I tried to shop carefully, looking at both price and nutrition.  I have tuna and sardines, steak and chicken, salad, sliced mushrooms and stirfry, frozen mixed veg, bread, pasta, risotto rice, instant noodles, vegemite, butter, chopped tomatoes, mandarines, grapes, watermelon and apple juice.  Hopefully, this will keep me going for at least a couple of weeks, until I have sorted out getting some money transferred to my new bank account.

I've also brought some exercise DVDs with me, so once my colleague goes home in a week's time, I'll have the apartment to myself and can move the coffee table and bounce about in front of the large screen tv - providing that I can get my computer to talk to the tv!  There is a DVD player here, but I suspect it is Australian region and the DRM on the DVDs will not allow them to play on it.  I confess that I haven't tried though!

I wonder whether to pick up a set of scales, or whether to eat sensibly, exercise rationally and hope to have a lovely surprise when I get home.  Hmmm, decisions, decisions....
