Sense indeed. I've just read it, written out my own challenges (actually kinda mundane since I'm lucky enough to be on track for the career I want without having to risk anything much), bookmarked it, and am going to show it to my lady next time I see her.
In the order in which they occurred to me: -Train properly for parkour -"Clear the decks" - get on top of all the mundane chores and such, so that my free time is actually free. -Sort out my sleep patterns, now. Enough is enough. -Diet - no calorie restriction or similar, but be sensible about what I eat (and not gorging).
It's actually quite surprising to look back and see the progress I've made in the last year or two, mostly without even having to face my fears consciously. Time to see what I can do with this...
OK, so this is the point at which words must give way to action. What am I going to actually do right now? -As to point 1, I'll go for a run as soon as I've posted this, and I'll start doing training of some sort at least once a day. -I'm going to come back from the run and get stuck into chores - dishes, laundry, tidying, cleaning. Get on top, stay on top, live free. -I did just get up at 7:30, despite getting to bed way too late (forgot to unset the alarm from the first time I went to bed). I've now just set an alarm for 10pm, and I'll use that to get myself to bed by 11. Up at 7:30 every morning regardless, and in bed by 11 unless I've got a really good reason to stay up. -Diet: Pretty self-explanatory, really. Choose to eat a healthy, balanced diet, and choose to eat it in moderation. No starving or going hungry, but also no overeating and definitely no binge-eating.
In short, thank you. We hope you have enjoyed this epiphany, and will now return you to your regular scheduled programming. <3
