Photographic record
Jul. 9th, 2011 09:04 am It's now the 9th of July and I weighed in this morning at 12 stone 6lb - a very nice steady weightloss rate! And I realised that I haven't taken photos for quite a while and that this should be rectified. I've not used my compact camera on timer before and I don't have my full tripod for the DSLR, so sadly they're not my usual quality of photo. It appears that the compact prefocusses on the timer trigger, so the focus is on the wall rather than on me in front of it and I haven't got anything suitable to hand to use as the focal point before I take its place. So, caveats aside - here they are.

I've been eating pretty reasonably for the most part, with the odd treat like a piece of pavlova yesterday (which I knew was happening - the office has a cake morning on Fridays, so I don't have breakfast, to compensate slightly). I've done a lot of making several meals and freezing portions for future use - a mushroom risotto, a chicken and cashew stirfry, a beef cantonese stirfry and meatballs in a tomato and red wine sauce with pasta, for the evening, a yogurt for breakfast, fruit for snacks and crackers with varying toppings for lunch. I have another 13 weeks here, so there's plenty of time to continue along a sensible trajectory to being much closer to a personal healthy range by the time I go home.
