Under Pressure
Jun. 21st, 2014 11:05 pm I haven't been 'exercising' today, but I have been on the go all day. There are various areas outside the house that need painting, but before painting, cleaning was needed. So I hooked up the pressure washer and spent four hours cleaning paths, masonry and fences. And following that, I painted the first thing on my list, the cast iron railings that divide our frontage from our neighbours. There are three panels, but since it took me two hours to do only one, only one got done before I called it a day. Food has been good though, particularly my evening meal of poached eggs on bacon medallions on toasted crumpet on a bed of sweet salad leaves. For my partner, I included hollandaise sauce to make it a full Eggs Benedict, but decided that I should only have the bowl to mop out, so maybe a tsp worth? It was a small bowl, maybe ramekin size.
Oh, and I used an application called Mapmyrun to work out how far my march was yesterday. Obviously there will be accuracy errors, but it seems to be coming out as pretty close to 3km long - so my 30 minutes wasn't a bad time for that. I've done one for work, so I'll try to remember to put shorts, t-shirt and trainers in my car, as I don't want to stomp in my work clothes, as I maintain a pace to increase my heart rate and that tends to be enough to make me perspire!
